Re “A Vote for Chaos,” editorial, June 16: Your editorial discounts the way information unfolds as the time to vote approaches.

Those members of the armed forces dispatched to the far reaches of civilization and communications, through their acceptance of military discipline and commitment to expend their lives for us at home, should have the latitude to obtain and act upon the latest information possible before casting their ballots.
