A motorist was killed late Sunday when his car veered off the road and he was ejected, police said.
Harry Wilson, 43, of Rancho Santa Margarita died at the Rancho Santa Margarita scene from major head injuries, Orange County coroner’s officials said Monday.
Wilson was traveling south on the Foothill Transportation Corridor near Antonio Parkway shortly after 11 p.m. when his 1998 Jeep Cherokee crossed the center divider and overturned, said Officer Denise Quesada of the California Highway Patrol.
Wilson, who was alone and not wearing a seat belt, was thrown out, Quesada said. An investigation continues, she said.
