Oakes, Hunt Picked for Under-19 Team

Midfielder Jill Oakes of West Hills and defender Hayley Hunt of San Marino were two of 18 players named to the U.S. Under-19 women’s national soccer team that will play upcoming games in Canada.

Oakes (North Hollywood Harvard Westlake) and Hunt (Pasadena Poly) will be seniors in the fall.

The U.S. team will play Canada on Saturday in Toronto with a game between the full national teams to follow. The Under-19 teams also will play Monday in Scarborough.
