* Update--The Bruins are looking to ease the sting of their 29-point loss in Berkeley last month, although they are being careful not to adopt a vengeful mentality. “We’re not big on the revenge factor,” Coach Steve Lavin said. “If you set yourself up to play a game based on revenge, you get too emotional.” Lavin will be especially careful to keep his emotions in check. He was put on probation by the Pacific 10 Conference this week because of his tirade against an official during Saturday’s game at Oregon State. Another outburst could get Lavin suspended. In Cal’s 92-63 victory over UCLA, six Bear players scored in double figures. One of those was forward Sean Lampley, who last Saturday became the school’s all-time leading scorer with 1,635 points.
