* May Department Stores Co. said Chairman Jerome Loeb will retire April 30 after 37 years with the retailer and be replaced by Chief Executive Eugene Kahn. Kahn, 50, will relinquish the title of president to Chief Financial Officer John Dunham. Thomas Fingleton, executive vice president, will assume Dunham’s role as CFO.
