The circus meets the symphony in “Cirque Orchestra,” which will have its U.S. premiere Aug. 2-5 at the Irvine Barclay Theatre. Cirque Eloize of Quebec will provide the circus acts--all human, no animals--and the Pacific Symphony under conductor Mark Mandarano will accompany with music from Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Saint-Saens, Sibelius and Rachmaninoff. The program is the first co-presentation by the Barclay and the Pacific Symphony. Tickets, $35-$45 and half price for children, go on sale March 12. (949) 854-4646 or www.thebarclay.org.
