The winner of California’s third-largest SuperLotto Plus jackpot came forward Monday to claim her $89-million prize.

Sang Cho bought the winning ticket at a 7-Eleven store, one of $5 worth of Quick Pick tickets.

Cho is the largest individual winner in the California Lottery’s history. She read the winning numbers in a newspaper Sunday.

“I couldn’t believe it. I jumped up and down and my blood pressure went up to 200. Luckily my husband is patient and cool, because I went crazy,” she said. “This is great for my son, who is just getting ready to start college.”

Cho said she only buys tickets when the jackpot gets really big. She chose the lump sum and will get $45.1 million before taxes, according to lottery officials.

Samir Saleh owns the store where the winning ticket was purchased. “I knew one of these days I’d sell a winning ticket,” he said.

Saleh said he sold about 7,000 SuperLotto Plus tickets Saturday alone.

He will receive a cut of the jackpot, $445,000.
