BOISE STATE

Record: 11-16, 7-7, tied for fourth.

Starters: G Abby Vaughan (10.1, 2.4), G Camille Woodfield (5.0 points, 4.1 rebounds), F Tawnya Gray (9.8 points, 5.0 rebounds), F Crista Peterson (12.1 points, 6.1 rebounds), C Kristen Crockett (3.2 points, 2.4 rebounds).

Top reserves: Andrea Swindell (10.7 points, 7 rebounds.)

Outlook: Swindell, a junior from Whittier High, sat out Saturday’s 70-50 loss at Irvine with a sore knee and is questionable this week.

CAL POLY SAN LUIS OBISPO

Record: 11-16, 5-9, sixth.

Starters: F Caroline Rowles (10.2 ppg), C Heather Journey (7.5 ppg), G Odessa Jenkins (8.2 ppg), G Kristy Baker (7.0 ppg), G Kari Duperron (4.8).

Top reserves: Katie Paterson, Lacy Tanneberg, Catrina Taylor, Courtney Goetz, Jennifer Sorosky.

Outlook: The Mustangs defeated UC Santa Barbara and Long Beach State, the No. 1- and No. 2-seeded teams once during the regular season, showing potential to be a tournament surprise. Rowles scored a season-high 20 points against Pacific last weekend.

CAL STATE FULLERTON

Record: 1-26, 1-13, eighth.

Starters: G Lindsay Sotero (2.6 ppg), G Tamara Quinn (11.0 ppg), C Allison Parks (7.6 ppg), F Heather Hansen (6.7 ppg, 6.5 rpg), F Danielle Robinson (4.7 ppg, 5.3 rpg).

Top reserves: Allyson Alhadeff, Nikki Lee, Jennielee Greslie, Chante Gifford.

Outlook: The Titans ended the season with a seven-game losing streak and have been battered in several games this season. Fullerton lost to defending champion UC Santa Barbara, 79-24, late in the season. Quinn ranks as one of the conference’s top freshmen.

IDAHO

Record: 7-20, 4-10, seventh.

Starters: G Suzy Goss (3.9 points), G Tasha Rico (5.4 assists), F Darci Pemberton (10.1 points, 7.7 rebounds), F Laura Bloom (8.9 points), C Julie Wynstra (8.4 points).

Top reserves: Jennae Krell, Jen Schooler, Meg LeBlanc, Kelly Benad, Jamie Coldren.

Outlook: The Vandals lost both meetings with Long Beach State by an average of 19 points each.

LONG BEACH STATE

Record: 15-12, 10-4, tied for second.

Starters: G Reta Sula (11.4 ppg), G Tamara Inoue (9.4 ppg), C Jackie Moore (18.8 ppg, 8.1 rpg), F Ekuah Ramsey (12.1 ppg), F Charel Bailey (7.8 ppg).

Top reserves: Crystal Givens, Kyoko Higurashi, Lauren Bull, Montoya Whitfield.

Outlook: The 49ers lead the conference in scoring with an average of 74.9 points, and have three of their top seven scorers in Moore, Ramsey and Sula. Moore was named conference player of the year. She leads in scoring and ranks second in rebounding. Long Beach has won 10 of its last 14 games and had a five-game winning streak before losing at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and at UC Santa Barbara last weekend.

PACIFIC

Record: 17-10, 10-4, tied for second.

Starters: G Selena Ho (15.1 ppg), G Dolinda Meeker (8.6 ppg), C Gillian d’Hondt (7.5 ppg), F Ahsha Johnson (3.9 ppg), F Millie Kimpton (13.0 ppg, 6.2 rpg).

Top reserves: Vanessa Dupont, Amanda Svensson, Nancy Dinges, Corinne Wong, Mischa Clark.

Outlook: Pacific’s four conference losses have come at the hands of No. 1-seeded UC Santa Barbara and No. 2-ranked Long Beach State. The Tigers have won six of their last eight games.

UC IRVINE

Record: 16-13, 7-7, tied for fourth.

Starters: G Jana Ciperova (6 points, 4.5 rebounds), G Lisa Woznick (6.5 points) F Wendy Gabbe (10.8 points), F Cindy Oparah (10.6 points, 5.6 rebounds), C Brandy Hudson (10 points, 5.8 rebounds).

Top reserves: Christina Callaway, Maree Vincent, Erin Tomlinson, Kristen Green.

Outlook: The Anteaters have only nine players, but they have won their last five games after defeating Boise State, 70-50, Saturday.

UC SANTA BARBARA

Record: 19-8, 12-2, regular-season champion. Starters: G Jessica Hansen (9.8 points), G Debby Caine (4.8 assists), G Rachelle Rogers (9.4 points), F Kayte Christensen (13.8 points, 8.0 rebounds), C Nicole Greathouse (8.9 points, 6.3 rebounds).

Top reserves: Krystyn Miller, Lindsay Taylor, Lisa Willet, Jessica Combs.

Outlook: While not as strong as in past seasons, the Gauchos have won six consecutive regular-season titles. Taylor (10.3 points) is the first person off the bench.
