It sounds cliched to say this L.A. punk quartet’s message is “don’t sell out.” But maybe because it feels like the ‘80s all over again, or perhaps because in Hollywood souls are so routinely corrupted by greed there is fresh urgency to such defiant numbers as “No More” and “White Collar Money.” Frontman Frank Meyer and his mates display the classic fast ‘n’ loud punk influences but deftly vary the collection’s sonic effect by mixing in power-pop, vintage blues-rock, R&B; and even a dash of new wave.
