UCLA 93, Washington State 61--Kristee Porter scored a career-high 32 points for the Bruins (5-23, 4-13), who shot a season-high 52% in the easy victory over the Cougars (11-16, 6-11) at Pauley Pavilion.

Michelle Greco added 25 points for UCLA. Greco became the 19th Bruin to surpass 1,000 career points.

Porter made 16 of 24 shots from the field. She had 18 points at halftime as UCLA led, 50-31.

Arizona State 70, California 58--Amanda Levens had 20 points as the Sun Devils (20-9, 12-5) moved into a first-place tie with Washington after defeating the Golden Bears at Tempe, Ariz.

The Sun Devils built a 60-42 lead with 6:51 to go after Betsy Boardman made a shot. Melody Johnson had 13 points for Arizona State.

Stanford 74, Arizona 66--Nicole Powell had a career-high 29 points, including six three-pointers, and added 12 rebounds to lead the Cardinal to a victory at Tucson.

Stanford (17-10, 11-6) clinched a third-place finish in the league with the victory while handing Arizona (18-11, 8-9) its fourth consecutive loss.

TOURNAMENTS

Big 12--Seventh-ranked Oklahoma (26-4) made eight three-pointers in the first half and went on to tie the tournament record of 14 en route to a 102-93 semifinal win over No. 20 Colorado (21-8) at Kansas City. Caton Hill led the Sooners with 23 points and 11 rebounds. The 102 points broke the previous tournament points record of 98 set by Texas A&M; in 1998. . . . Angie Welle had 25 points and 11 rebounds as No. 13 Iowa State (24-5) beat No. 11 Texas Tech (23-6), 73-62, to advance to Saturday’s final.

Missouri Valley--Jackie Stiles scored 22 points to lead No. 16 Southwest Missouri State (23-5) to a 92-63 victory over Indiana State in a first-round game at Springfield, Mo. Stiles, the NCAA career scoring leader, played only 24 minutes as Southwest Missouri’s defense held Indiana State (10-18) to 37% shooting for the game.
