Man Found Shot on Street in Santa Ana
Santa Ana police said members of their gang investigations unit were looking into a shooting Sunday afternoon that left a 21-year-old man in the hospital.
Victor Ramirez, 21, was found by neighbors shot in front of his home in the 1000 block of West Bishop Street at about 5:15 p.m.
He was transported to Western Medical Center-Anaheim where he was being operated on late Sunday.
Police had made no arrests and had no suspects identified Sunday night.
“All we have is a person who comes out and says, ‘Someone is on my front lawn, and he has been shot,’ ” said Santa Ana Police Lt. Felix Osuna.
