Man Dies After Car Hits Him in Orange
A man crossing a street in Orange during rush hour Monday was hit by a car and killed, authorities said.
Police said the victim, identified only as a black man possibly in his 40s, was crossing Garden Grove Boulevard near State College Boulevard about 6:30 p.m. when the accident happened.
The driver of the vehicle was not charged, said Sgt. Mark Hensler, a spokesman for the Orange Police Department. An investigation of the incident is continuing, he said.
