In the third-place game:

Santa Margarita 6, No. 2 Aliso Niguel 5--Pam Sulick tripled in the tying run and scored on a fielder’s choice by Alexandra Prattes in the seventh inning to win it for the Eagles (5-1). Aliso Niguel (2-4) had taken a 5-4 lead in the top of the inning on Chezare Sievers’ bases-loaded triple. Nicole Bartholomew (2-1) earned the victory; Jessica Skarre (0-2) suffered the loss.

In nonleague games:

Century 6, Santiago 6 (9 innings)--Nicole Nungaray tripled in two runs as the Centurions tied the score with a five-run seventh. Crystal Soto’s two-out triple drove in the game-winner in the ninth. Elaina Alcaraz (2-0) struck out seven for Century (5-2).
