Multi-Vehicle Crash Leaves 17 Injured

Seventeen people were injured in an accident--involving a Canadian tour bus, a truck and two cars--that for several hours shut down the Capital Beltway and the heavily traveled Interstate 95 corridor. Police said none of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening.
State police said the driver of a tractor-trailer truck was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving after being unable to stop in time when he came upon slowed traffic. Police said the truck pushed one car into another, which subsequently hit a tour bus.
