Kevin Barber Named Senior V.P. at Conexant

Kevin Barber has been named senior vice president of operations at Conexant Systems Inc. in Newport Beach. He most recently served as vice president of internal manufacturing, responsible for the wafer fabrication and assembly and test facilities. Barber succeeds Terry L. Ellis, who retired this year.

* Clark Neuhoff has joined the commercial development division of Sares-Regis Group in Irvine as director of development. He had been development manager for the Orange County office of Koll Development Co. Neuhoff has also been an acquisition analyst for contaminated and distressed properties at Koll Investment Management.

* Dan Paladino has been named director of business development at National Water & Power in Santa Ana. He was formerly national sales manager, non-security group, for Inovonics Wireless.

* Brian McLeod has been named director of business development at Roland DGA Corp. in Irvine. He was formerly sales manager for specialty products.

* Ivy Hatch has been appointed associate at IA, a workplace design, management and strategies firm. She is business manager for the Los Angeles and Costa Mesa offices.

* Jason Kimes has been appointed marketing supervisor at Saflock’s Costa Mesa facility. He was previously a trade-show specialist. Before joining the company, Kimes was an event administration manager for Precision Events Inc. in Anaheim.

* Steven L. Hollstein has been named executive vice president and chief credit officer of the new e-Comm National Bank in Irvine, which is being set up. He had been an executive vice president and chief credit officer at Marine National Bank in Irvine. Hollstein has also been with Laguna Bank, Newport Harbour National Bank, Sunwest Bank and Southern California First National Bank.

* Jill Chambers has been appointed account executive at Roxburgh, a Costa Mesa communications company. She joined the company three years ago as a senior account coordinator and was later named client services manager. Before joining Roxburgh, she was a senior account coordinator at the Wilshire Group in Irvine.

* R. Scott Mund, a tax partner with Arthur Andersen, has transferred from Los Angeles to the Irvine office to lead the firm’s International Tax Services practice. He previously served one year at Arthur Andersen’s Office of Federal Tax Services in Washington, D.C.
