Blues-rock singer-guitarist George Thorogood has long been known as the Delaware Destroyer, but it wasn’t until he was on tour in Florida recently that his nickname caught up with him in the form of a fire that destroyed his band’s tour bus. They’re back on the road, however, with new transportation that brings Thorogood and his band to the House of Blues in Anaheim.

* George Thorogood, House of Blues, 1530 S. Disneyland Drive, Anaheim. 8 p.m. $35. (714) 778-2583.

Photography

An exhibition of 100 photographs by Native American youths, “Pathways,” is on display at the Cypress College Photography Galleries. A hundred amateur photographers, 5 to 15, who live on the Morongo, Pala and Pechanga reservations, were supplied with cameras and film and encouraged to take pictures of things they felt were important to them. The exhibition will travel throughout Southern California. Also, “Santa Clara Portraits” by Neil Chapman will be on display in the Library Gallery, along with pottery made by the Santa Clara Pueblo artists featured in Chapman’s portraits. The exhibit will feature a selection of black and white portraits that Chapman made of artists from the Santa Clara Pueblo in northern New Mexico throughout the 1990s.
