Exposition Light Rail
* The chance to build a light rail line on Exposition Boulevard from Santa Monica to downtown Los Angeles is almost too good to be true (“Putting Westside on Rails,” editorial, April 28). This project would give the people of the county of Los Angeles a viable alternative to the congestion on the Santa Monica Freeway. This light rail line would serve residents and businesses along a 17-mile route and give us access to the rich economic, recreational and cultural sites in Southern California.
The sound you hear is not that of a train, but opportunity knocking. Design this line correctly, and build it soon.
