Pop Music

Plus One is the hot new boy band that’s rated G (for general audiences) and also CC (for contemporary Christian). The five members, living in Nashville, possess the requisite good looks and supply the necessary shimmering vocal harmonies and lock-step dance moves to woo fans of ‘N Sync and Backstreet Boys, but they skip any hint of sexual provocation that sometimes slips into the works of secular teen pop acts. They’re on tour with two other Christian teen acts, Stacie Orrico and Rachael Lampa.

* Plus One, Bren Events Center, UC Irvine. With Stacie Orrico, Rachael Lampa. 7 p.m. $21.50 to $25.50. (949) 824-5000.
