Indian Guides

* I take strong issue with [spokesman for the American Indian Movement] Vernon Bellecourt’s comments about the YMCA’s Indian Guides being a breeding ground for racism (“Native American Groups Decry YMCA Program’s Use of Cultural Themes,” April 30). My two sons were part of the Indian Guide program and neither one of them has a racist bone is his body. In a country that is always talking about family values there should be more programs like the Indian Guides.
