Ben Stein’s Nancy
In his story about the lack of female game-show hosts (“The Feminist Link,” April 30), Paul Farhi mentions Ben Stein but surprisingly not his female co-host, Nancy Pimental.
More than just a sidekick, she introduces the panelists, flirts with the men on the show (providing a welcome balance to Ben’s behavior with the women), trades barbs and double-entendres with Ben, and reads the questions for the second half of the show when Ben takes his place on the panel.
She’s charming, attractive and smart as a whip. OK, so her name’s not on the show, but it is Ben’s money, after all.
