Bush Picks Councilman for White House Panel

President Bush has named Simi Valley Councilman Glen Becerra to the White House Commission on Presidential Scholars.
Becerra, 34, is a member of the Simi Valley Education Foundation, which provides college scholarships for graduating seniors and grants for teachers at local public schools.
Becerra was also Bush’s Ventura County campaign chairman.
