3 State Police Agents Shot Execution-Style
The bodies of three state police agents who had been shot execution-style were found near an irrigation canal in the border city of Mexicali, authorities said.
The agents apparently were abducted and taken to an area about three miles south of the city, said Enrique Tellaeche, a spokesman for the Baja California attorney general’s office. There, each was shot in the head and their bodies were dumped in a canal.
The victims were found behind their truck. Near the bodies, police investigators found a total of at least six shell casings.
