Ducks Freeze Season-Ticket Prices Again

The Mighty Ducks will freeze season-ticket prices for the second consecutive year, General Manager Pierre Gauthier said Tuesday. Prices for other game tickets have not been finalized, Gauthier said.

“When we talk to the fans, the one concern they have are ticket prices,” Gauthier said. “Our fans have been very loyal, in good times and bad times, and this is our way to show our appreciation for their loyalty.”

The Ducks have seen a significant drop in attendance the last three seasons, going from an average of 17,068 in 1997-98 to an average of 13,512 this past season. They sold 553,990 tickets for 2000-2001, a franchise low for a non-lockout season.
