Police Investigate Man’s Fatal Shooting

Los Angeles Police detectives are investigating the shooting death of a 43-year-old man in his apartment complex parking lot Friday afternoon.
Naguib Girgis Sadek, who was shot once in the upper torso, died at the scene, Sgt. Richard Thomas said of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Van Nuys Division.
The motive is unknown, and no witnesses have been found, Thomas said. Anyone with information about the shooting in the 7200 block of Lennox Avenue is asked to call Van Nuys homicide detectives at (818) 756-8377.
