Planners Revoke Nightclub’s Permit
Calling the club a public nuisance, the Oxnard Planning Commission has revoked a special use permit from the Cloud 9 Hollywood nightclub.
Oxnard police contend the business is really just a bar even though the permit requires the club to be an eating place. Authorities contend it serves minors and is connected to problems such as fights and illegal drugs.
An attorney for the club said he would appeal the decision .
