Manufacturers Bank Elects Chairman

Manufacturers Bank elected Takashi Fujishima chairman and chief executive and named Ryoji Iwanaga vice chairman. Fujishima was with Sakura Bank, now Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp., for 31 years, where his positions included deputy general manager of the corporate human resources division and head of the investment banking division in London. Iwanaga is returning to Los Angeles-based Manufacturers Bank, where he previously was executive vice president.

Magid Associates

Jack MacKenzie has been named senior vice president of Frank N. Magid Associates, a research-based strategic consulting firm. In his new post, MacKenzie will head the company’s Los Angeles-based entertainment division. Most recently, MacKenzie was head of Magid Media Futures and senior consultant in the company’s North American television division.

Koll Development

Koll Development Co. has promoted Stephen J. Muller to senior vice president and controller. Before joining the Newport Beach commercial real estate developer last year, he was vice president and corporate controller for Catellus Residential Group in Irvine.

RNL Design

Patrick McKelvey has been promoted to principal of RNL Design. McKelvey currently directs the day-to-day operations of RNL’s Los Angeles office and will now lead the firm’s Transportation Studio.
