It’s Teaching, Not Land
While there may currently be 15,000 out of 750,000 students who don’t have seats in their neighborhoods, nearly 15,000 out of almost 45,000 teachers lack credentials and experience in teaching. Comparing a 2% shortage with nearly 33% makes one realize the real issue is in the classroom, not in real estate acquisition. The very location where children learn from the adults is in the classroom every day of the school year. If only there were real estate brokers, land speculators or construction companies willing to find the teachers necessary to instruct the students of Los Angeles as readily as they want to transact land.
