Troupe Seeking Help for Shakespeare Festival
The Kingsmen Shakespeare Co. is seeking volunteers for its annual summer festival that celebrates the Bard.
The Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival will take place on weekends from June 29 to Aug. 5 at Cal Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks.
Free performances of “Hamlet” or “As You Like It” will begin at 8 p.m. at Kingsmen Park. Volunteers will serve as gift-shop assistants, greeters and reservation managers.
This marks the fifth year of the Shakespeare festival, which is sponsored by the university and the acting troupe. The Kingsmen Shakespeare Co. also performs at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, coordinates apprentice programs for professional actors and organizes summer drama camps for youths.
