‘Trick or Treat’ Trio Rob Family of Cash

A man wearing camouflage fatigues and a woman dressed as a football player, accompanied by a child dressed as a ballerina, knocked on the front door of a Sherman Oaks home Wednesday night, said “trick or treat” when the door opened and robbed the residents, police said.
One of the suspects used a pistol during the robbery, LAPD spokesman Don Cox said.
The suspects, and the young girl who was about 7 years old, arrived at the house in the 15500 block of Royal Ridge Road about 6:20 p.m., Cox said.
The suspects, Cox said, “took an unknown amount of currency,” before fleeing.
