Man Held After Knives, Stun Gun Found in Bag
A man carrying seven knives and a stun gun was arrested trying to board a flight at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, police said.
Subash Gurung, 27, a Nepal native, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and attempting to board an aircraft with weapons, both misdemeanor charges, a police spokesman said. He was questioned and released early Sunday.
Gurung made it past the security checkpoint at O’Hare, but airline employees at the gate area searched his bag in a routine check and reportedly found the lock-blade knives and the Taser gun.
