Capturing the Horror

In “Catch-22,” Joseph Heller wrote, “Where are the Snowdens of yesteryear?”

Thanks for answering that question with Christopher Reynolds’ profile of soldier-artist Master Sgt. Henrietta Snowden (“Art Enlisted to Serve History,” Oct. 29). Her drawing of the Pentagon titled “September 11” moved me more than any other image I have seen since the events of Sept. 11 unfolded.

I hope Snowden receives her orders to Central Asia soon. I look forward to seeing more of her work.
