Helper in Anti-Alcohol Program Dies in Crash

A military videographer who worked on an anti-alcohol program aimed at high school students was killed in a drunk driving accident, authorities said.

Airman 1st Class Cassandra Willoughby was intoxicated when she flipped her car Oct. 22, killing herself and roommate Allison Guyer, the California Highway Patrol said.

Willoughby had a blood-alcohol level of 0.18%. The state’s legal limit for driving is 0.08%. Stationed at Vandenberg Air Force Base, she had worked closely with CHP officers to warn teenagers about the effects of drinking and driving.
