3 People Are Wounded in Shooting at Party
Three people were wounded when a gunman burst into a party and opened fire, authorities said.
Francisco Villa, 27; Eddie Majia, 19; and a 17-year-old were treated at Simi Valley Hospital after the Saturday night shootings and released, said Sheriff’s Capt. Paul Anderson.
Anderson said the shooting occurred shortly before 11 p.m. in a home in the 300 block of Ruth Avenue. The gunman fled, and there have been no arrests, he said.
Party-goers said they did not know the gunman, but investigators said the shooting appeared to be gang-related.
