Man, 31, Killed in Fall From 3rd-Floor Balcony
A man fell to his death early Friday from a third-floor balcony, police said.
Fermin Medina Ramirez, 31, suffered massive head injuries and was found dead in the courtyard of the Avalon Laguna Apartments in the 30000 block of Niguel Road, said Jim Amormino, spokesman for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies said Ramirez, who lived in the complex, apparently fell accidentally, but an investigation is continuing.
A newspaper carrier leaving for work at 1 a.m. saw Ramirez on the balcony, Amormino said, then found the body in the courtyard when he returned about 5:30 a.m.
