Town Hall Meeting to Focus on Security

Public safety in the aftermath of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks will be the focus of a town hall meeting Tuesday at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum near Simi Valley.

Representatives from Ventura County public safety agencies--including the sheriff’s and fire departments and the district attorney’s office--will take part in a panel discussion on efforts being made to improve security.

The county public health department, the FBI and the Simi Valley Police Department will also participate in the forum, which will take place from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the library, 40 Presidential Drive.
