Cyclist Killed on 55 Freeway
A motorcyclist was killed instantly early Sunday morning after his vehicle crashed on the Costa Mesa Freeway, authorities said.
Paul James Hill, 29, was traveling on the ramp connecting the southbound Costa Mesa Freeway to the southbound San Diego Freeway when he struck the guardrail.
The cause of death was blunt force trauma to the chest, officials said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
