7:30 pm: Pop Music

Los Straitjackets are an endangered rock species--an instrumental band. But now that they’ve built a steady following, the masked marauders from Tennessee have thrown everyone for a loop with a new album, “Sing Along With Los Straitjackets,” that includes vocals. The good news: The people doing the singing include Dave Alvin, Nick Lowe, Raul Malo, Allison Moorer, Exene Cervenka and Big Sandy. Sandy will be on hand to sing along at the group’s Southern California dates.* Los Straitjackets and Big Sandy, House of Blues Anaheim, 1530 S. Disneyland Drive, Anaheim, 7:30 p.m. $15.
