Mansfield Burial at Arlington Cemetery
Mike Mansfield, the longest-serving U.S. Senate majority leader and later U.S. ambassador to Japan under both Democratic and Republican administrations, will be buried Wednesday morning at Arlington National Cemetery. The funeral will be held beforehand in Memorial Chapel at Ft. Myer in Arlington. Mansfield, who died Friday at age 98, is survived by a daughter, Anne Mansfield Marris of London; and a granddaughter.
