The setting for last year’s “Remember the Titans” film, about a racially integrated high school football team, is featured in a new 20-page booklet, “A Remarkable and Courageous Journey: A Guide to Alexandria’s African American History.” The booklet describes and maps more than 20 sites, including churches, private homes and African American neighborhoods in the Virginia city.
