Motorcyclists to Ride for Abused Children
More than 1,000 motorcyclists will take to the road Sunday for a 55-mile charity ride to benefit Santa Ana’s Olive Crest Group Home for abused children.
Last year’s event raised $15,000. This year, organizers are hoping for more than $20,000, event spokeswoman Jill Swartz said.
Orange County riders will meet at Olive Crest, 2130 E. 4th St., at 7:30 for coffee and bagels before traveling to El Segundo. From there, the group will head north on Pacific Coast Highway to CBS Studios Center in Studio City for lunch and a tour.
The cost to participate is $30 for riders, $15 for co-riders.
