Holiday Closings

Monday is Labor Day. The following schedule will be observed:

* All city, county, state and federal offices will be closed.

* County, state and federal courthouses will be closed.

* City and county libraries will be closed.

* Banks and savings and loans will be closed.

* Public schools, community colleges and universities will not hold classes.

* Mail will not be delivered and post offices will be closed. Mail deposited in mailboxes will be picked up according to the posted holiday schedule.

* Trash will not be collected; pick-ups will be a day late for the rest of the week.

* Buses: Orange County Transportation Authority buses will run on the holiday schedule, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on selected lines.

* Metrolink trains will not run.
