Holiday Closures
Today is Labor Day, set aside to recognize the contribution of working people to the nation. The holiday also marks the traditional end of summer.
* OFFICES: Government offices, courts, banks, post offices, stock and commodity exchanges, libraries and many businesses will be closed.
* TRANSPORTATION: SCAT, VISTA and city buses will not run. Metrolink trains will not run.
* TRASH: There will be no trash collection. Trucks will run one day behind schedule.
