2 Brothers Are Shot Inside Store, 1 Fatally
A gunman shot two brothers inside a convenience store early Saturday, killing one of them, authorities said.
The shooting at the 7-Eleven at 1910 Colorado Blvd. occurred about 1:45 a.m. and was witnessed by more than a dozen people, said Los Angeles Police Officer Eduardo Funes.
The unidentified victims, in their early 20s, were with girlfriends when they were shot near the counter, police said. The surviving brother suffered a wound to the arm.
The gunman, also described as in his 20s, fled in a car, possibly a white Honda Civic, Funes said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Northeast Division homicide detectives at (213) 847-4261.
