The Mighty Ducks sent defenseman Aris Brimanis to Cincinnati, their minor league affiliate. Pavel Trnka, Drew Bannister and Antti-Jussi Niemi are left to compete for the last two spots on the defense.
Goalie Gregg Naumenko was also sent to Cincinnati.
