Hot Rock Massage: The last time I went to Palm Springs I went to this spa, La Quinta, which is in a city which is called La Quinta and is the next stop after Palm Springs. They have this massage where they heat these really smooth rocks and place them on different parts of your back, and it’s the nicest feeling. It radiates through your skin, and it’s so relaxing.

Fairfax South: I like that Ethiopian strip on Fairfax. There’s the Blue Nile and another excellent restaurant across the street. They bring you a million vegetarian dishes like beans and the different potato dishes and then some sort of meat and you twist it up in that bread called injera. I like that whole effect.

Hollywood Hip-Hop Hangout: I’ve been to Grandville, which is normally at that club called Peanuts. On Saturday nights, they play hip-hop music and then at midnight strippers come out. They play really good dance kind of stuff and mix it up a lot. It makes you move. And usually the house is packed and everyone is dancing. Sometimes, it gets a little Hollywood heavy. The last time I was there, I went with Jessica Alba from the show, and Demi Moore, Owen Wilson and Tobey Maguire were there.

Bumper Boats: What I kind of like to do, but I don’t do regularly, is we go to these kid’s arcades. I had my birthday two years ago at Bullwinkle’s, off the 405, which is pretty far south. We had so much fun. We took it over. I have a lot of cousins who are teenagers and little kids and we had this huge group. We played video games and did bumper boats, go-carts and putt-putt golf.

Exotic Fabric: Once or twice a year, I go to Artesia, like Little India, and I go buy fabric. They have all these beautiful Indian fabrics and they are really inexpensive. They have great furniture--handcrafted, Indian stuff.

HBO: I like to be home early on Sundays, because I like to watch “Six Feet Under.” The writing on that show is so good. It’s truly an ensemble show. They didn’t just try and focus on one or two people in the family. They actually use the whole family and then all the friends, so it’s so many more interesting elements drawn together.

The actors are really great too. I think my favorite character is the mom.
