For Bora-Bora, Leave the Kids Home

Share

Having returned March 29 from Bora-Bora, I read Debbie Seaman’s article (“Awash in Tropical Bliss on Bora-Bora,” March 31) hoping to relive the same exhilarating experience we had through another’s prism.

Unfortunately, I read the report of a tourist experiencing the ups and downs of traveling with small children to the most romantic isle in the world. Bora-Bora captivates like no other destination. It’s not a family-oriented spot. It’s for couples only. It’s for couples wishing to solder the foundation of a new relationship; for newlyweds wishing to put an idyllic, slow-paced bow on their hectic marriage ceremony; for couples wishing to renew their marriage vows on a special anniversary; or for older adults who wish to embrace the ultimate paradise.

Bora-Bora is a destination solely for romantics.
