Man Shot Dead in Drive-By Attack

A Los Angeles man was fatally shot in Lynwood Monday night by someone who fired several shots from a car driving by the 3200 block of Pleasant Street, the Sheriff’s Department said.
Winston Contreras suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his chest in the 8:30 p.m. attack and died at a hospital, Deputy Roberta Granek said.
By Tuesday afternoon, a memorial of fresh flowers, candles and rosary beads was erected at the site south of Imperial Highway.
No suspects have been arrested.
