Michael A. Hiltzik’s article about the “Spider-Man” screenplay (“Untangling the Web,” Special Hollywood Issue, March 24) was carefully researched and beautifully written. He spent the time and got it right. I have represented writers in credit arbitrations for more than 20 years. In that time, I have had one arbitration with 35 drafts and another that spanned 16 years. Usually the Writers Guild is fair, but every once in a while . . . .
