Soldier Killed, 2 Hurt in Military Vehicle Rollover
One soldier was killed and two others were injured Wednesday when a vehicle rolled over during a training exercise, military officials said.
The soldiers, members of the 82nd Airborne Division based at Ft. Bragg, N.C., were participating in the Millennium Challenge 2002, a three-week-long training exercise. It involved various branches of the military.
The two injured soldiers were taken to a base hospital. One was listed in stable condition and the other was treated and released, according to a military press release.
