Unidentified Man Dies in Crash on Interstate 5

An unidentified man died Friday when his car tumbled 100 yards down a shoulder slope on the southbound Golden State Freeway, authorities said.
The accident occurred about 1:40 p.m. north of Templin Highway, according to Los Angeles County Fire Inspector Mike Brown.
The driver was believed to be about 40 years old, and the cause of the crash was not known.
